Credit Card Interest Calculator

Calculate your total credit card interest charge and view a month-by-month balance table.

Before you calculate

A constant-balance daily-interest estimate cannot reproduce a statement with purchases, payments, grace periods or multiple APR balances.

Credit Card Interest Formula

Credit card interest is calculated daily using your APR divided by 365.

Estimated interest = Balance × (APR / 365) × days (APR entered as a decimal)

Example Scenarios

Minimum Payments

Paying only the minimum on a $5,000 balance at 20% APR can take over 10 years to pay off.

Paying in Full

Paying your full balance each month avoids all interest charges.
